Few minutes with Deborah Estrin

I met Deborah Estrin today and introduced myself and began the conversation.

Me: “Hi madam. You have become so successful. Being a woman, how did you overcome all the difficulties that you faced in life?”

Me:”I am a second year engineering student.What do you have to say about engineering?”

Estrin:” Well, you are in the most interesting field. You are not in business or  you are not a lawyer. You are into the world of science. You have got lot to explore.  Be enthusiastic about everything and maintain curiosity. ”

Me:”What is your principle in life?”

Estrin:” I does things which I believe has a good cause. That alone gives me satisfaction.”

Someone interrupted and called her.

Estrin:” Do you want to know anything more?”

Me:”Nothing ma’am. You may go.”

Estrin: “Well, Best of luck for you. Try to be the best. Do good. Best wishes.Bye ”

Me:”Nice to meet you madam!”

The talk made me very motivated. I felt proud to be an engineering student. 🙂
