For the first time in my life, I attended an international conference. I met a lot of delegates who are pioneers in their fields of research. I got an opportunity to talk to lot of people and it gave a lot of inspiration and confidence.
ACWR is the international conference on Wireless Technologies for Humanitarian Relief. The conference was held with the goal of bringing together renowned researchers and practitioners with an interest in humanitarian applications of emerging technologies. I am lucky enough to attend the conference at my own college.
Dr R Chidambaram, the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India, was the General chair. I got an opportunity to interact with them. I was very moved with the simplicity and politeness of most of the great professors whom I met, who were ready to share their views, explain their areas of research and give advises to students with whole-heartedness. I interacted with Maarten Van Steen, Masahiro Fujita, Sneha Kumar Kasera, George C Polyzos, Sanjit K Kaul, Faisal Luqman, Deborah Estrin, Ian Akyildiz, Ram Narayanan, Enrico Domaniris who are great Professors or leaders of their field. You can check about them here .
